Evening programme – ContourLight
On Monday evening the participants of the conference will have the occasion to explore ‘Mechelen by Night’:
As you follow the atmospheric evening trail ContourLight you will fall for the charms of the historic centre of Mechelen and discover the visual power of contemporary lighting artworks – artistic visions conjured up by international artists using a whole range of light sources, from neon to LED.
Light artworks on streets, squares and in gardens intermingle with the lighting of buildings and public spaces. Creations by Jan Van Munster (NL), Maurizio Nannucci (IT), Mischa Kuball (DE) and the Belgians Luc Coeckelberghs, Pieter Vermeersch and Kris Verdonck will ensure that the ContourLight route inspires nothing short of wonder.
